Project Field Engineer

The H&K Group, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Project Field Engineer to join its Structures Division. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate project progress information and cost data for project control and analysis.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining project schedules, including coordinating deliveries, equipment, and subcontractors.
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Coordinate with purchasing to requisition materials and ensure proper coding of invoices.
  • Develop and maintain daily project diaries, including manpower, equipment, and material deliveries.
  • Process change orders and technical problems with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Review project cost reports with the project team.
  • Ensure project safety requirements are met, including site visits and coordination with subcontractors.
  • Oversee project security and safety.
  • Assist in preparing project AIA Billing requisitions.
  • Review and maintain all project files, including submittals, shop drawings, and maintenance manuals.
