SolutionHealth is seeking a skilled Coding Quality Assurance Expert to join our team. As a key member of our Coding Department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our coding practices.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement coding education initiatives to support the health system's mission.
- Perform coding quality audits of records for CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS code assignment.
- Document and review recommended coding changes with management and staff.
- Identify trends and patterns in coding and documentation variances and provide education.
- Develop and present education materials to coders and providers.
- Enhance and improve Clinical Documentation Improvement programs by working closely with coders and providers.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of coding experience, preferably in a multi-specialty group practice.
- AAPC Coding Certification(s), CPC, CPC-H, CCS, CCS-P, Required.
- Experience/knowledge with healthcare coding and documentation audits and appeals.
- Ability to meet deadlines consistently and reliably.
