Job OpportunityVI Communications is seeking a skilled Low Voltage Telecommunications Tech to join our team.Job Responsibilities

As a Low Voltage Telecommunications Tech, you will be responsible for:

  • Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing telephone, data, and fiber optic cables
  • Installing surface mount raceway
  • Testing and certifying cables with Level V test equipment
  • Ensuring adherence to quality and safety codes
  • Passing a hair follicle drug test, background check, and MVR check
  • Obtaining a TWIC card

​​Requirements

  • Previous experience in telecommunications or related fields
  • Familiarity with electrical schematics and blueprints
  • Familiarity with copper and fiber optic testing equipment and hand tools
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
