Job Summary

We seek a Water Resources Engineer to perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling of infrastructure and natural systems in the Raleigh, NC area. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Civil Engineering or a related field, EI certification, and 3+ years of progressive hydrologic and hydraulic engineering experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling of infrastructure and natural systems
  • Develop and implement drainage design and erosion control measures
  • Model municipal stormwater systems and design infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions
Requirements
  • BS in Civil Engineering or related field
  • EI certification, PE preferred
  • 3+ years of progressive hydrologic and hydraulic engineering experience
  • Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software, GIS, Microstation, Open Roads Designer, or Civil3D
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with HEC-RAS 1D or 2D modeling
  • Drainage design and erosion control design experience
  • Municipal stormwater system modeling experience
  • DOT design experience
