Acute Care Cardiology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Opportunity

Piedmont Heart Institute is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Acute Care Services team in Snellville, Georgia.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the evaluation and treatment of Cardiology patients in an inpatient setting, including the emergency room and intensive care unit.
- Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations, and record data in patient records.
- Write progress notes, consults, admissions, and discharge summaries.
- Prepare patient workups and order diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Collaborate with Physicians and other Cardiology Advanced Practice Providers in a team-based environment.
- Masters or Bachelors Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification.
- Or, Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification.
- 2-5 years previous cardiology experience highly preferred.
