Piedmont Heart Institute is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Acute Care Services team in a full-time night shift position.
About the RoleAs a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in an inpatient setting, including the emergency room and intensive care unit. Your duties will include taking patient histories, conducting physical examinations, and recording data in patient records. You will also write progress notes, consults, admissions, and discharge summaries, and prepare patient workups.
Responsibilities- Assist in the evaluation and treatment of Cardiology patients in an inpatient setting.
- Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations, and record data in patient records.
- Write progress notes, consults, admissions, and discharge summaries.
- Prepare patient workups.
- Order and schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients.
- Work alongside Physicians and other Cardiology Advanced Practice Providers in a collaborative team.

Masters or Bachelors Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification, or Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification.
Preferred experience: 2-5 years previous cardiology experience.
