Excelsior Orthopaedics Group is seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer to join our team. As a key member of our rehabilitation clinic, you will provide clinical support and direction for the athletic population and post-surgical patients. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing clinical linkage between physical therapy and rehabilitation, ensuring seamless care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical support and direction for the athletic population and post-surgical patients
  • Develop and implement rehabilitation plans to promote optimal recovery and performance
  • Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Conduct evaluations, treatments, and education for patients with athletic, sports-related, or orthopedic injuries/conditions
  • Represent Excelsior Orthopaedics Group at external events and participate in health fairs, educational seminars, and expos
Requirements
  • BS in Athletic Training required
  • NYS license required
  • CPR/AED certification preferred
  • Experience in educational or clinical setting preferred but not required
Physical Demands
  • Requires considerable physical activity, including heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects up to 50 pounds
  • Involves standing, walking, and kneeling
  • Work environment involves some exposure to hazards/physical risk, which requires adhering to basic safety precautions
