We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to oversee the processing and production departments at Foster Farms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business management and the ability to communicate effectively with employees and superintendents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Departmental Oversight: Responsible for ensuring that processing and production departments meet company goals and standards for quality, yield, productivity, cost, and safety.
  • Employee Development: Develop and train employees to work within company policies and guidelines.
  • Exception Reporting: Report any exceptions to superintendents regarding productivity, downtime, quality, yield, cost, and safety.
  • Standard Monitoring: Monitor and control area of responsibility to ensure adherence to company standards and indexes.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business management or equivalent work experience (five to ten years) in the food processing industry.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Mathematical Skills: Good mathematical background to perform calculations on yield, productivity, reports, etc.
  • Human Resource Skills: Able to evaluate leads and employees fairly and objectively.
  • Growth Potential: Opportunity to assume more responsibility and grow within the company.
