Key Responsibilities
  • Specimen Collection and Processing: Collect and oversee drug screen collections with precision, ensuring accurate completion of paper chain and custody forms.
  • Lab Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all lab equipment is functioning correctly and perform minor maintenance as needed to prevent downtime.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete record logs, perform data entry, and other administrative duties as requested to support laboratory operations.
  • Quality Control: Troubleshoot specimen-related issues to maintain workflow and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Supply Management: Replenish test bench supplies to ensure operational efficiency and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a medical, lab, or production environment is preferred.
  • Skills: High level of attention to detail, ability to prioritize and multitask effectively, and comfort with handling biological specimens.
  • Additional Requirements: Must pass a standardized color blindness test and be flexible to work overtime as needed.
