Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Weekend Sports Director/MMJ to join our team at Imagicomm Communications LLC. As a key member of our sports department, you will be responsible for creating engaging sports content for multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and produce high-quality sports content, including writing, shooting, editing, and producing for various platforms.
  • Work under intense pressure and tight deadlines to deliver exceptional results.
  • Exercise strong news and editorial judgment to ensure accuracy and fairness in reporting.
  • Operate a company vehicle to assignments, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
  • Develop and maintain excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple assignments and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong news writing skills with the ability to engage and inform audiences.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
  • Experience with social media platforms and ability to create timely and engaging content.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Premiere Pro, and Ross Inception is preferred.
