About the Job

CPS Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, CA. As a Drug Information Staff Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in providing clinical pharmacy services to patients and healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fill orders with accuracy and maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances
  • Enter orders and patient information with accuracy and aid in the training of new staff
  • Update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy and aid in maintaining the pharmacy
  • Answer CPS/ARMC drug information questions and assist with monitoring and reporting in P&T Committee, Med Safety, etc.
  • Assist with updating policies/procedures/order sets and investigational drug studies
  • Medication safety and precepting/coordinating students and interns
Requirements
  • Pharmacy Degree (BS or PharmD) from an accredited school of pharmacy
  • Current State of California Pharmacist license in good standing
  • Successful completion of a Pharmacy Practice Residency program required
  • Experience in an acute care hospital pharmacy required
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service skills, verbal and written
  • Proficiency in computer entry including experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
  • Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
