Job Title: RN Shift Supervisor
Alpine Healthcare Management LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN Shift Supervisor to oversee day-to-day patient care and supervise nursing staff. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a strong focus on quality patient care, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients by physical examination and administer medications and treatments as needed.
- Participate in the care planning process and oversee implementation of the plan to ensure quality patient care.
- Supervise LPNs and nursing assistants to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Communicate with physicians regarding changes in conditions, diagnostic test results, and other important patient information.
- Document assessments and care in compliance with standards of care and company policy.
- Educate patients and their families on health-related issues to promote informed decision-making.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
- Valid State licensure as an RN.
- Current CPR certification.
Physical Demands:
Shift work may be required. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands or fingers, reach with hands and arms, feel, talk, and hear. The employee will occasionally assist in lifting and/or transferring patients weighing between 100 to 250 pounds.
