Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Employee Engagement Communications to join our RTX Corporate Communications team. This role will be responsible for developing, leading, and executing integrated communications plans aligned to both business and employee initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the ES Business Services leader in developing executive communications plans to further support enterprise employee experience.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the Business Services leadership team, providing guidance on communications strategies and plans.
  • Create and execute enterprise and targeted communications plans to educate employees about changes impacting the RTX employee experience.
  • Partner with Communications leads across the function to align on timing, tone, and intent of content informing various employee populations about Business Services tools, initiatives, and programs.
  • Serve as a Business Services subject matter expert for team members across Communications.
Requirements
  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience.
  • Previous experience developing, executing, and measuring internal communications strategies, with exceptional written, verbal, and social communication skills.

  • Proficiency in storytelling that delivers impactful, positive outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance and deliver on multiple projects.
  • Ability to synthesize complex business issues into clear and actional messages for targeted audiences.
  • Experience in a matrixed, international environment.
  • Knowledge of, and experience in, the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Demonstrated interest in seeking out innovative approaches to audience engagement.
  • Self-starter with a natural curiosity and drive to bring projects to completion.
  • Adept at building relationships in a remote/hybrid environment.

The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $272,000. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
