Job Title: Product Support Field Representative

At Doosan Bobcat North America, we are seeking a highly skilled Product Support Field Representative to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional product support and technical expertise to our customers.

Job Summary:

The Product Support Field Representative will be responsible for providing product support and technical assistance to customers, dealers, and internal teams. This includes troubleshooting and resolving issues related to our forklift trucks, as well as providing training and technical support to ensure seamless product operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide product support and technical assistance to customers, dealers, and internal teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to our forklift trucks.
  • Conduct training and provide technical support to ensure seamless product operation.
  • Enter all relevant calls into the Service Call Center.
  • Follow up on all territory issues on a weekly basis.
  • Prepare and submit weekly reports detailing activities to the general manager.
  • Review high-dollar warranty claims with the warranty department.
  • Provide updated technical information to dealers.
  • Communicate effectively with internal partners via message systems.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in a technical or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2-5 years of experience in the product support field, preferably with material handling equipment.
  • Strong mechanical skills and equipment troubleshooting experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills.
  • Effective negotiation skills.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Ability to make sound, timely decisions.
  • Self-motivated with strong time management skills and priority focus.
  • MS Office Suite proficiency.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) driving record.

The Product Support Field Representative will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction and product support. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
