Position Summary

The Culinary Specialist role involves the preparation and cooking of various food items in alignment with SWRG INC's quality and service expectations. This position requires the coordination of orders to ensure timely and precise cooking. The ideal candidate should possess a comprehensive understanding of all menu offerings and the ingredients utilized in recipes, while also ensuring that all food temperatures meet the required standards. Adherence to company safety and sanitation protocols is essential. The Culinary Specialist will report directly to the Manager on Duty.

Key Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role, preferably within a high-volume or upscale dining environment.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Availability to work on weekends is necessary.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interpret orders accurately.
  • Capability to remain on your feet for the duration of the shift, including navigating stairs.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds.
  • Familiarity with basic culinary cooking and preparation terminology.
  • Proficient knife skills in a kitchen setting.
