Role SummaryWe are currently seeking a dedicated and results-oriented individual to join our team as a Senior Quality Management Engineer. This role is pivotal in overseeing external audit management, enhancing internal audit processes, and supporting sustainability initiatives across our global manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with NEAPCO's global divisions to develop and maintain an effective Quality Management System (QMS).
- Implement global QMS standards and processes, providing support through auditing and corrective action implementation.
- Ensure compliance with ISO9001, IATF 16949, VDA, and Customer Specific Requirements (CSR's) across all NEAPCO sites.
- Manage the Internal Audit program, focusing on the efficiency and effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Train and mentor internal auditors to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
- Conduct gap assessments to ensure adherence to system requirements.
- Engage in various projects as directed by management, including quality issue support and sustainability initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Management, specifically in developing Management Systems within Tier 1 OEMs in the automotive or related industries.
- Strong understanding of automotive core tools including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC.
- Experience with ISO, IATF, VDA audits, and certifications; Lead Auditor qualification for IATF VDA 6.3 is preferred.
- ASQ Certifications such as CQE, CQA, and/or CMQ/OE are advantageous.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a solid grasp of statistical analysis and process validation.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work independently under time constraints.
- Proven capability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural teams, influencing positive outcomes.
- Willingness to travel globally up to 30% of the time.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Quality, Engineering, or a related field.
