Another Source is seeking a Chief Stewardship Officer to lead our donor engagement efforts.

About the Role:


As the Chief Stewardship Officer, you will spearhead our initiatives aimed at enhancing donor engagement.

Your role will involve leading the development of stewardship plans for various recognition groups, providing meaningful updates to major contributors, and collaborating with relevant departments to maintain effective communication regarding donor memberships.

By staying informed on best practices in donor relations, you will devise strategies to elevate the donor experience and create compelling materials that support donor engagement.


Your duties will encompass:

  • Implementing a comprehensive stewardship strategy aligned with our fundraising objectives.
  • Designing creative stewardship programs and events.
  • Fostering collaboration with development teams and other organizational units.

In addition, you will oversee acknowledgment programs for major gift donors, execute annual stewardship initiatives, and cultivate partnerships across the organization to promote a culture of appreciation.


By building strong relationships with key contributors, facilitating donor interactions, and ensuring meticulous records of all stewardship activities, you will play a vital role in showcasing the impact of philanthropy.



Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree along with a minimum of three years of relevant experience is required; an advanced degree is preferred.


A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in stewardship, donor relations, or fundraising, with a proven history of developing and implementing successful stewardship initiatives, is preferred.
