Job Summary:
The Wattsburg Area School District is seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Psychologist to join our team. As a School Psychologist, you will play a critical role in providing psycho-diagnostic services for early intervention and school-aged students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psycho-educational assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support students with special needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure students receive comprehensive support.
- Stay up-to-date with special education requirements, timelines, and regulations.
- Provide counseling and guidance to students, parents, and staff as needed.
Requirements:
- PA Certification in School Psychology required.
- Act 34, 114, and 151 Clearances required.
- Act 126 Mandated Reporter Training required.
- Act 168 required.
- Health physical with tuberculin skin test results required.
