Overview
VocoVision is seeking a dedicated remote school psychologist to join a Pennsylvania school district for the upcoming academic year. Interviews are being scheduled immediately, so we encourage you to apply without delay. Applicants do not need to reside in Pennsylvania but must have valid licenses for both their home state and Pennsylvania.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Degree: Masters or Doctorate in School Psychology
  • Certification: Teaching certification from the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE)
  • Licenses: State-issued License and Education Certification
  • Clearances: Current state clearances required

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage a K-12 student caseload
  • Collaborate on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and assessments with educational specialists
  • Conduct reevaluations as necessary
  • Actively participate as a member of the special education team
  • Assist in creating personnel remediation plans and establishing effective classroom management strategies
  • Additional details will be provided in a Zoom interview with the district director or coordinator

Work Details:

  • Type: Full-time independent contractor position (30-40 hours per week)
  • Start Date: Immediate, through June 2025

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly Rate: $48-$53, which includes direct and indirect services
  • Opportunities: Independent contracting options available
  • Resources: Access to clinical support and resources during your assignment
  • Training: Onboarding sessions to facilitate a smooth transition

Virtual Requirements:

  • Valid state license required
  • At least two years of experience in a school environment
  • High-speed internet and a reliable home computer necessary
  • Tech-savvy; onboarding for software will be provided
  • Must maintain personal liability insurance and be comfortable with independent contracting
