About the Role
At Walmart, we're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Associate to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for maintaining the Project Material Supply Warehouse in the region. This involves handling goods not for resale (GNFR) and working closely with customers, suppliers, and associates to ensure all project material inventory is stored properly and replenished as needed.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will perform facility upkeep activities such as cleaning, maintaining internal areas, and operating sweeper/scrubber equipment safely and correctly. You will also inform management of unsafe working conditions, poor products, or improper service procedures and suggest solutions. Additionally, you will process fixtures and pallets by moving them to staging areas and put-away locations using Powered Industrial Trucks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with individuals and groups. You should also be able to consistently lift up to 60lbs and be willing to undergo training on power equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and floor scrubbers.
