Ramp Service Agent


Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Ramp Service Agent to join our team at Signature Flight Support Corporation. As a Ramp Service Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients while ensuring the safe and efficient handling of aircraft on the ground.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, including responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate and maintain ground service equipment, such as fuel trucks and de-icing trucks, to ensure safe and efficient aircraft handling.
  • Conduct pre- and post-flight inspections of aircraft to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Load and unload luggage and cargo from aircraft, and ensure that all cargo is properly secured and accounted for.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless and efficient aircraft handling and ground support services.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on the latest safety procedures and company policies.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Valid state driver's license required; commercial driver's license (CDL) may be required in some locations.
  • Ability to pass background checks, drug tests, and receive and maintain an airport security badge.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
  • Ability to successfully complete Signature's training programs.
  • Ability to pass a color vision test for purposes of inspecting aviation fuel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
