Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to guest inquiries regarding dining options, including hours of operation and general property information.
  • Stay informed about the beverage offerings, including detailed descriptions, and assist guests with pairing recommendations.
  • Promote signature drinks to enhance guest satisfaction and drive revenue.
  • Maintain knowledge of the food menu, including pricing and add-ons, to assist guests with their selections.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the entry area and To-Go counter.
  • Collaborate with fellow service staff to deliver exceptional service and assist with table maintenance as needed.
  • Welcome and seat guests based on their preferences and table availability.
  • Inform guests about daily specials, featured items, and personal recommendations.
  • Accurately process To-Go orders, ensuring completeness and adherence to company procedures.
  • Keep the reservation system and host area well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Maintain dining and service areas in accordance with established standards.
  • Process payments for food and beverage orders efficiently using the POS system.
  • Participate in the removal of liquor glassware, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide responsible alcohol service following established guidelines.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of table assignments, operational hours, and proper table arrangements.
  • Adhere to uniform standards, including special event attire as required.
  • Assist with special events as requested.
  • Follow Health Department regulations regarding food safety and cleanliness.
  • Attend all scheduled training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Keep assigned areas and equipment in a clean and safe condition.
  • Complete opening, closing, and other assigned duties as necessary.
  • Accurately report tips at the end of each shift.
  • Perform all tasks in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures to ensure consistent service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old; High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Preferred one year of experience in a high-volume host/cashier role.
  • Prior experience in customer service within a fast-paced setting is advantageous.
  • Cash handling experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills are essential.
  • Ability to operate a POS system and handle cash transactions accurately.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, are required.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English is necessary.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with team members and guests.
  • Experience with electronic reservation systems is preferred.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
