About the Role

Park View Care Center, a 5-Star rated, 123-bed Care Center, is seeking Part-Time Caregiver Assistants to support our nursing team in providing exceptional care to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Enhance resident dining experiences by greeting residents and delivering meals.
  • Assist residents with staying connected to family members through Facetime or other methods.
  • Help residents maintain a tidy living space by making beds, straightening drawers and closets, and decluttering surfaces.
  • Engage residents in activities such as reading or one-to-one interactions.
  • Assist with transporting residents or transferring them in wheelchairs after proper training.
  • Answer call lights and notify nursing staff of resident needs.
  • Pass out linens, water mugs, and other essential items.
  • Take temperatures of employees and/or vendors entering the building after proper training.
  • Empty linen and stock supplies.
  • Assist with answering the phone as needed.
  • Prepare admission packets and new employee folders.
  • Deliver newsletters, mail, or other items to residents.
  • Perform non-personal/non-invasive duties as requested.
Requirements
  • Must be interested in becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
  • Passion for working with older adults is required.
  • Ability to provide friendly customer service to residents and families.
  • Must be responsible and reliable.
