NP/PA Acute Care Specialist

Job Summary:
Archway Physician Recruitment is seeking an experienced Acute Care NP or PA to join our team in a full-time, permanent position. The ideal candidate will have critical care, trauma, and/or acute care setting experience and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare admissions, perform initial evaluations and physical exams, conduct approved diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order laboratory studies and professional consultations, and prescribe appropriate interventions and medications.
- Manage ventilators, place central and arterial lines, and perform respiratory intubation.
- Work in a 16-bed critical care unit with a rotating schedule of one week of nights, 7p-7a, one week off, then one week of days, 7a-7p, one week off, repeat.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in acute care or critical care setting.
- Experience with respiratory intubation, placing central and arterial lines, and managing ventilators is highly desirable.
