About This Role

We're seeking a highly skilled FT Customer Service Leader to join our team at Food Lion. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and leading by example to ensure our customers receive the best possible experience. You'll work closely with the Customer Service Manager and Assistant Customer Service Manager to maintain high standards of customer service and maximize sales.

Main Responsibilities

* Deliver fast, easy, flexible and friendly service to our customers
* Collaborate with colleagues to achieve customer service goals
* Maintain accurate records of customer transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
* Identify opportunities to improve customer service and implement changes as needed
* Stay up-to-date with company initiatives and policies affecting customer service

Requirements

* 1+ years of customer service experience in a retail environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
* Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
* Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
