This role involves conducting a range of research and analytical tasks that support the college's strategic planning, budgeting processes, program assessments, student retention initiatives, and enrollment analysis.
Key Responsibilities
As an Analyst II, you will:
- Engage in technical and analytical duties focused on data collection, interpretation, reporting, and evaluation.
- Write both simple and complex queries for data extraction and analysis, preparing comprehensive reports and summaries.
- Assist in the preparation of mandatory reports and surveys for local, state, and federal agencies.
- Develop and deliver written and oral presentations, as well as workshops, to support the college community.
- Maintain institutional databases and archival records, ensuring accurate and organized data management.
- Manage multiple projects effectively, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher with at least one year of relevant experience, or an Associate’s degree with three years of experience, or a High School diploma with a minimum of six years of related experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of performance measurement principles and the ability to evaluate statistical data accurately.
- Experience with current best practices in usability and accessibility, adhering to college, state, and federal regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
Experience in institutional research, and proficiency in tools such as SAS SQL, Colleague, and Power BI are advantageous.
Work Environment
We promote a collaborative work atmosphere that values diversity and inclusion. The Analyst II may also be required to provide support and training to colleagues within the department.
