About the Role

The Certified Nursing Assistant II role is a vital position in our healthcare team, responsible for providing delegated routine and predictable patient care tasks and duties under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Key Responsibilities

  • Perform delegated routine and predictable patient care tasks and duties under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Conduct EKGs, vital signs, and basic patient care
  • Transport patients as needed
  • Respond appropriately to patients and families with knowledge of age-specific needs based on the scope of service of the unit/department where assigned

Requirements

  • Sufficient education and training for certification
  • California Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 months Certified Nursing Assistant experience in a hospital or post-acute environment
