Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team at St. David's North Austin Medical Center. As a NICU RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families.
Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement and evaluate care for infants in the NICU.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe and accurate delivery of care.
- Attend deliveries, perform neonatal stabilization and admission assessments, and create plans of care for newborns.
- Administer medications and complete treatments according to hospital policy.
- Provide education and support to families on homecare, treatments, and adoption.
- Assist in high-risk deliveries and resuscitation efforts.
- 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required.
