Compensation:
$80 to $100 per hour
Position Overview:
We are in search of a proficient Advanced Practice Provider with a focus on Geriatric Psychiatry for a full-time role within our geriatric inpatient unit.
- Patient Management: Oversee a caseload of up to 12 patients specializing in geriatric psychiatry.
- Clinical Documentation: Ensure accurate completion of admissions, discharges, and daily progress notes for assigned patients.
- Team Collaboration: Engage in treatment team meetings, family discussions, and agency consultations as required.
- Provider Coverage: Prepare written handovers for on-call providers during overnight and weekend shifts.
- Days: Monday through Friday
- Hours: 8 hours each day
- No On-Call Responsibilities: No after-hours or weekend on-call duties.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, including a minimum of 1 year in Geriatric Psychiatry.
- Skills: Strong clinical expertise in geriatric psychiatry along with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant mental health regulations is advantageous.
- Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a schedule with no weekend or on-call responsibilities.
