Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide safe and effective surgical care to patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments to ensure proper function.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to facilitate a physician's performance of invasive and therapeutic procedures.
- Utilize and keep current on the application of sterile and aseptic technique, surgical procedures, implementation tools and technologies, human anatomy.
Requirements:
- Graduation from a surgical technology program accredited through Accreditation Review Council on Education in Surgical Technology (ARC-ST).
- A minimum of six months in Cardiac Operating Room work experience that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge and skills.
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
