Job Overview

SUMMARY:

The primary role of this position is to operate on the production line. Candidates should prioritize safety, demonstrate a keen attention to detail, and possess the ability to follow instructions accurately. Experience in a repetitive manufacturing setting is preferred, although a willingness to learn is also valued.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This position operates during the 3rd Shift, with hours from Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:15 AM.
  • Exhibit the capability to comprehend and fulfill performance standards as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for your designated area within the Assembly Department, specifically on the Istech Auto-Loader and/or BOL equipment.
  • Familiarize yourself with the following tasks:
    • Istech: Payoff, middle, table, load, end-cap
    • BOL: Pick and place, load, critical seal, printing
  • Execute tasks in accordance with Operational SOPs.
  • Achieve all production and quality targets.
  • Safely handle materials in and out of the glove box to minimize exposure to air and moisture.
  • Learn the necessary steps to maintain a clean and organized 5S work environment.
  • Understand and consistently wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for your work area.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required, along with 1-3 years of relevant experience or training, or a suitable combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE AND MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to read and understand simple instructions and memos, as well as write basic correspondence. Capable of presenting information effectively in small group settings. Proficient in basic mathematical operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense to follow written or verbal instructions and to address problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical requirements of this role include regular standing, walking, and using hands for handling or feeling objects. Occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling may be necessary. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds as needed.
