Job Overview

Meadow Gold Dairy is seeking a dedicated Fleet Operations Maintenance Specialist to oversee the coordination of fleet maintenance across multiple sites. This role is essential in providing administrative support to the Fleet Manager throughout the state. Responsibilities include processing invoices, conducting audits, managing controls, and generating parts reports, as well as assisting in the management of parts room inventory.

As a proud farmer-owned brand of Dairy Farmers of America (DFA), we represent the integrity of dairy products shared with our communities. DFA produces a wide range of dairy items, including cheese, butter, fluid milk, ice cream, and dairy ingredients, under well-established regional brands.

COMPENSATION:

$25.00/hr

WORK SCHEDULE:

MONDAY - FRIDAY: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the procurement of vehicle parts, tires, and supplies.
  • Coordinate all repair and body shop activities.
  • Conduct quarterly inventories across various locations.
  • Manage obsolete parts to maintain a variance of 5% or less.
  • Supervise parts inventories for multiple sites.
  • Process all invoices and become proficient in COUPA and Dossier systems.
  • Maintain vendor-related repair orders within a 45-day timeframe.
  • Administer vehicle information files, including transfers and disposal forms.
  • Handle all warranty claims effectively.
  • Assist in monitoring fleet expenses.
  • Prepare monthly reports for the fleet manager.
  • Utilize vendor websites for warranty checks and vehicle specifications.
  • Perform monthly fuel reconciliations for assigned locations.
  • Support scheduling tasks for fleet technicians.
  • Collect road call information in the absence of supervisors or managers.
  • Maintain filing as necessary.
  • Execute other related duties as assigned.
  • Pick up orders and parts as required.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with 1 to 18 months of relevant experience and/or training preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Proficient in computer skills within a Windows environment, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and One Drive.
  • Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
  • Analytical and accounting skills are essential.
  • Willingness to travel locally as needed.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Must pass all required medical exams, drug tests, and background checks.
