Job Summary

KO Business Solutions is a professional staffing firm that supports the hiring needs of companies across the country. Our partner in the environmental consulting industry is looking to add a CADD/GIS Technician to their team to help support field technical functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the creation of environmental figures and maps to facilitate reporting efforts.
  • Utilize AutoCAD LT, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Online to create drawings and maps.
  • Collaborate with in-house staff to develop clear and concise environmental figures and maps.
  • Communicate progress and deadlines with project managers and supervisors.
  • Maintain organized file structures for ease of access.
  • Work within quality, budget, and schedule expectations.
  • Develop and maintain a catalog of in-house GIS maps and applications.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or certification in Computer-Aided Drafting and Design (CADD).
  • Experience with AutoCAD and ArcGIS Pro/Online.
  • 0-2 years of professional work experience.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to be organized, self-motivated, dependable, personable, and able to multitask and work effectively as a team player.
