Compensation:
$85,000-$110,000.00. Salary is determined by various factors including education, experience, and certifications.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Oversight:
Coordinate all nursing activities and patient care within budgetary limits. Ensure compliance with national and organizational standards and guidelines. Supervise nursing personnel delivering professional care to patients, recognizing their physical, psychological, and spiritual needs. Uphold the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
Manage clinical operations for nursing support activities, ensuring all licensing and certification requirements are fulfilled. Assist in reviewing and updating clinical policies and procedures. Maintain adequate staffing levels for assigned clinics while managing operating costs within budget.
Participate in the recruitment and interviewing process for nursing staff. Perform essential tasks as needed and demonstrate a thorough understanding of relevant labor laws. Schedule and coordinate staff coverage, including managing vacations, sick leave, and overtime. Monitor patient satisfaction and quality assurance metrics. Ensure proper use of charge codes and educate staff on reimbursement procedures. Develop new services and activities for patients and staff in alignment with practice objectives.
Staff Development:
Implement retention and training programs with support from clinic leadership. Coordinate and assist with staff training, in-services, and internal development initiatives for nursing personnel. Aid in conducting annual performance evaluations for nursing staff. Serve as a mentor and provide guidance to less experienced nurses.
Qualifications
Education/Training: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with a BSN, possess a valid RN state license, and maintain current registration with the State Board of Nursing.
Leadership experience is preferred, along with oncology certification and a chemotherapy immunotherapy provider card.
Physical Requirements: This role requires a significant amount of computer-based work. Employees must be capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting and handling patients, manual dexterity, and coordination. Standing and walking for extended periods is necessary, with occasional lifting of items weighing up to 40 lbs. Vision and hearing must be corrected to normal ranges.
