Job Overview

Wellness Pointe is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Patient Support Representative.

This role is responsible for registering patients, collecting demographic and insurance information, and preparing required forms for signature. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively under pressure, and have a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interview patients to obtain demographic and insurance information
  • Input patient registration information into the computer system and verify accuracy
  • Prepare required forms for signature by patient or family member
  • Collect co-pays and deposits and issue receipts
  • Discuss financial arrangements with incoming patients and/or family members
  • Communicate with medical/clinical personnel regarding patient access and reimbursement issues

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Typically requires one (1) year experience in an office/administrative environment
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) required
  • Valid Texas Driver's License and auto liability insurance
  • Mental and physical health sufficient to meet the demands of the position
