We are seeking a highly skilled Cashier to join our team at Propark Mobility. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions, managing cash, and providing exceptional service to our patrons.
Salary and BenefitsAs a Cashier with Propark Mobility, you can expect a competitive hourly rate between $15.69 and $17.00 per hour. In addition to your salary, you will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and 8 supplemental insurances, including pet insurance.
Job ResponsibilitiesOur ideal candidate will have the ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively both verbally and through written correspondence. You will be responsible for:
- Directing customers to parking spaces and assisting them when spaces are full.
- Verifying the bank of cash provided for change and necessary supplies at the start of each shift.
- Issuing tickets to customers, recording the required information on each ticket.
- Collecting payment either through cash, credit card or validation, always securing cash according to company standard operating procedures.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- At least one year of related experience with cash handling.
- A high school degree preferred.
- The ability to safely drive a standard or automatic transmission vehicle.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when working with other employees and the parking customer.
The physical demands of this position include standing, walking, sitting, using hands-to-fingers, handling tools or controls, reaching with hands or arms, talking and hearing. The employee may be occasionally required to lift and/or move objects up to 25lbs. The noise level in this work environment can range from minimal to moderate.
