Sales Associate Chef'Store PT

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Chef'Store. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and achieving sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide fast, easy, and efficient service to customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, front end, and restrooms.
- Assist with receiving inventory shipments and stocking shelves in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Perform sales and cash functions in the POS, including scanning merchandise and handling cash transactions.
- Assist with price changes and maintain accurate pricing information.
- Participate in the inventory and cycle count process as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6-12 months retail cashier and/or stocking experience required.
- Minimum one year retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible hourly schedule, including holidays and weekends.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in using general office equipment.
Working Conditions:
The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with exposure to outside weather conditions. The noise level is moderate, and the temperature varies throughout the store. Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, and bending.
Compensation:
The expected compensation for this role is between $19.66- $21.09 per hour, with opportunities for overtime compensation and shift differential.
Benefits:
This part-time position is ineligible for benefits.
