Job Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Enterprise Technical Lead - Cloud Architect to join our team at Early Warning Services, LLC. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing large-scale cloud-based systems that meet the needs of our business.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic individual contributor, driving best practices, architectures, and technology decisions in support of our most demanding projects.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering leaders, architecture, security, and external partners to identify opportunities for incremental delivery and complex environments.
  • Maintain a high bar for execution and excellence in the engineering team, fostering leadership and executive presence throughout.
  • Provide technical leadership through large-scale system designs, upgrades, and releases, showcasing expertise in state-of-the-art technology, architecture, and design concepts.
  • Build and deliver well-considered scaling solutions via strong relationships with key stakeholders in data, architecture, and operations organizations.
  • Ensure software development follows effective quality guidelines and best practices, ensuring accurate and reliable information is provided within company standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive software engineering experience, recognized as a technical expert with demonstrated experience mentoring and leading large-scale deliverables and processes.
  • 5+ years of experience dealing with large-scale systems in the cloud, implementing application solutions/services using containerization, CI/CD, automated testing, and compliance security guidelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership through large-scale system designs, upgrades, and releases.
  • Recognized industry expert in their field through published works, patents, and/or industry speaking engagements.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary: $270,000 - $325,000 per year (Phoenix, AZ), $300,000 - $325,000 per year (San Francisco, CA), or $270,000 - $325,000 per year (Remote).
  • Discretionary bonus and benefits package.
  • Paid Time Off, unlimited time off for exempt employees, generous PTO for non-exempt employees, 11 paid company holidays, and a paid volunteer day.
  • 12 weeks of Paid Parental Leave.
