">Job Summary

This is a full-time, 12-month appointment responsible for leading the OTA program and ensuring its alignment with South College's strategic goals. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of academic leadership, teaching excellence, and experience working in healthcare education.

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide academic leadership and vision for the OTA program
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet accreditation standards
  • Cultivate partnerships with healthcare organizations to provide internship and job opportunities for students
  • Mentor and evaluate faculty members to ensure teaching excellence
  • Manage program budgets and resources to ensure efficient operations
  • Represent the OTA program at institutional and community levels

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
  • 5 years of professional experience in occupational therapy
  • 1 year of academic appointment with teaching responsibilities
  • Valid license to practice in Tennessee (or in process of acquiring)
  • Experience working with OTAs
