Machinist II

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Machinist II to join our team at Collins Aerospace. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, working orders, and engineering plans to assemble, repair, and fabricate metal parts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering plans to ensure accurate production
• Assemble, repair, and fabricate metal parts using operating mechanical equipment
• Take measurements of material and select appropriate machines for the process
• Perform machining setups and make adjustments as required
• Conduct inspections of work produced and maintain quality/safety standards

Requirements:

• Typically requires a high school diploma with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
