Machinist II

About the Role:

This is a skilled Machinist II position within our Aerospace Manufacturing team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, work orders, and engineering plans to ensure accurate and efficient production of aerospace components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering plans to determine material and dimensional requirements.
• Assemble, repair, and fabricate metal parts using operating mechanical equipment.
• Take measurements of material and select appropriate machines for the process.
• Perform machining setups and make adjustments as required.
• Conduct inspections of work produced and check SPC charts for frequency of checks, gauging, and measurements.
• Maintain quality and safety standards, and keep records of work completed.

Requirements:

• Typically requires a high school diploma with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 3 years of relevant experience is typically required.
• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) as defined by the company.
