**Job Title: Mechanical Assembly Technician**

**Job Overview**

A prominent organization is in search of a mechanical assembly technician to join their production team. You will collaborate with a group of 5-8 fellow technicians on the assembly line, focusing on the construction of small to medium-sized motors. Key responsibilities encompass retrieving components from inventory, utilizing hand tools to assemble back plates and seals, and employing a punch press for additional screw holes when required. Once the motors are fully assembled, they will proceed down the line for quality control inspection. Technicians are expected to meet a production target of 200 motors weekly. Please note that this role does not involve any electrical wiring tasks.

**Essential Skills**

+ Experience in a manufacturing setting for 1-3 years

+ Proficiency in reading calipers and tape measures

+ Ability to interpret blueprints and assembly instructions

+ Flexibility to transition between various job responsibilities efficiently

**Employment Type**

This position is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity with a duration of 4 months.

**Work Environment**

The role is entirely on-site. You will be situated in a climate-controlled workshop alongside other technicians. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with limited overtime. Attire includes jeans, a work shirt, and steel-toe footwear.
