Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Professional to provide essential support to individuals facing mental health challenges.

This role involves working closely with healthcare professionals to implement community-based services, individual assessments, treatment plans, promote positive behaviors, and ensure a safe environment for all clients.

Duties:

  • Assist in the implementation of individualized assessments and treatment plans for clients.
  • Monitor and document client behavior and progress.
  • Provide support during therapy sessions and group activities.
  • Engage clients using motivational interviewing techniques to encourage participation in their treatment.
  • Facilitate behavior management strategies to promote positive outcomes.
  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment by adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and medical staff.
  • Participate in training sessions related to behavioral therapy practices.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a mental health setting.
  • Proficiency in behavior management techniques.
  • Familiarity with motivational interviewing practices.
  • Knowledge of pediatric mental health issues.
  • Background in behavioral therapy methodologies.
  • Understanding of addiction counseling principles.
  • Ability to maintain accurate medical documentation.
  • Basic knowledge of psychopharmacology as it relates to mental health treatment.
  • Skills in child family counseling approaches.
