Your Responsibilities:

Instructional Duties:

  • Effectively instruct assigned classes across various educational environments.
  • Develop lesson plans and course materials as necessary.
  • Evaluate students objectively regarding their academic performance.
  • Organize and present subject matter in an engaging manner.
  • Utilize provided instructional plans and supplement approved student materials.
  • Ensure the security of assessment tools and confidential records.
  • Utilize and oversee learning management systems.
  • Conduct classes for the required duration.

Student Interaction:

  • Foster a positive and conducive classroom atmosphere.
  • Serve as a role model for professionalism and conduct.
  • Provide regular and constructive feedback to students.
  • Proactively communicate any student concerns to the Program Director.
  • Maintain accurate records of student grades and attendance.
  • Enforce campus policies and refer students when necessary.

Additional Duties:

  • Stay updated on current instructional standards.
  • Engage in faculty and professional development activities.
  • Attend workshops, seminars, and meetings as required.
  • Assist with graduation preparations and ceremonies.
  • Participate in campus activities and assist with supply management.
  • Maintain classrooms and equipment.
  • Contribute to a positive campus culture.

Your Qualifications:

  • Minimum of an associate degree in surgical technology.
  • Hold credentials in surgical technology from a nationally accredited program, certified by the National Commission on Certifying Agencies (NCCA).
  • A minimum of four years of clinical experience in surgical technology, including at least two years in the operating room scrub role within the last five years.
