POSITION SUMMARY
The role of the Machine Operator involves ensuring optimal machine performance and output. Responsibilities include operating machinery, preparing components, loading materials, conducting inspections, performing maintenance, and ensuring quality standards are met.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Adhere to all safety protocols and HESS guidelines.
· Ability to comprehend and follow both written and verbal instructions.
· Basic data entry skills and working knowledge are essential.
· Proficiency in basic mathematical operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
· Expected to manage and sustain machine output levels effectively.
· Maintain accurate daily logs of operations.
· Identify materials and products with precision.
· Ensure continuous supply of materials to bowls or hoppers.
· Utilize scales to weigh parts accurately.
· Maintain a clean and organized workspace following 5S principles.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to fulfill essential duties effectively. The following qualifications are preferred:
· High School diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) is preferred.
· Ability to accurately interpret safety regulations, operational guidelines, and maintenance manuals.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

· Capability to lift up to 25 pounds from floor level to chest height.
· Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 3 hours.
· Must be able to kneel, stoop, and bend continuously for up to 3 hours.

· Lift hands above shoulder height multiple times during a 10-hour shift.
· Push and spread materials at waist height throughout the shift.
