We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineering Intern to join our Engineering Department in Projects and Construction.

Job Summary

This internship involves working as a(n) engineer in the Projects and Construction team, utilizing a broad knowledge of business and engineering principles and practices acquired through previous coursework, experience, and on-the-job training.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in reviewing civil calculations and drawings, procuring engineering services and materials, while communicating between project and design teams.
  • Prepare scopes of work to solicit bids from contractors, oversee bid awards and construction.
  • Assist in analyzing equipment and environmental loads, preparing drawings and calculations for foundations and steel supports.
Requirements

The successful candidate must be actively pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited institution in Civil Engineering and graduating between December 2025 and May 2028.

Candidates must have completed sophomore-level coursework for consideration. A valid driver's license and a safe driving record are required.

Preferred qualifications include a 3.0 GPA, familiarity with design, drafting, or engineering software such as AutoCAD, and a desire to pursue a career in the energy industry.
