We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Pneudraulic Systems Mechanic to join our team at the Air National Guard Units. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing on- and/or off-equipment maintenance on assigned aircraft pneudraulic systems, components, and related aerospace ground equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform maintenance and operational and functional checks on assigned pneudraulic systems, troubleshoot malfunctions, and repair or replace components as needed.
- System Installation and Repair: Install, modify, and repair aircraft pneudraulic systems, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and related aerospace ground equipment.
- Organizational and Field Level Maintenance: Perform organizational and field level maintenance, including periodic, phase time, calendar, unscheduled, and special inspections.
- Technical Assistance: Provide technical assistance to other shops concerning complicated interaction malfunctions between other systems, subsystems, and components.
- Preparation for Readiness Evaluations: Prepare for and participate in various types of readiness evaluations, such as ORI, IG, and UE inspections, mobility, and command support exercises.
- Experience: Experience or training that demonstrates knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical principles, troubleshooting procedures, and ability to use technical manuals and test calibration procedures.
- Specialized Experience: Experience or training that provided knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical principles, fabricating fuel, oil, and vacuum hose lines, servicing, maintaining, disassembling, assembling, repairing, and testing hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and high levels of stress. The selected candidate must be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
