We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Maintenance Specialist II to join our team at Biogen. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for providing customer-oriented service and support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance: Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including Filling machines, Isolators, Vial Washers, Autoclaves, Parts Washers, and Automatic Vial Inspection equipment.
- Troubleshooting: Collaborate with Responsible Engineers and Manufacturing personnel to troubleshoot equipment problems and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Work Order Management: Perform preventative and corrective work order maintenance, and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality Assurance, to ensure seamless execution of maintenance activities.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or related manufacturing environment, or Associate's Degree with a minimum of 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or related manufacturing environment, or Bachelor's Degree in related field.
- Skills: Ability to work independently, with only general supervision and instructions on routine work, and detailed instructions on new assignments. Knowledge of hand and power tools, CMMS system, and Lock-Out Tag-Out procedures is preferred.
- Work Environment: This role requires occasional climbing, crawling into tight spaces, moving/lifting test equipment up to 50 lbs., and working in clean spaces where gowning is required. Ability to stand for up to 3 hours at a time is also required.
