Position Overview:
As a Rehabilitation Specialist within a dedicated inpatient rehabilitation environment, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals facing various challenges.

Your primary responsibilities will include evaluating, strategizing, organizing, and engaging in therapeutic programs designed to develop or restore essential vocational, domestic, and daily living capabilities, ultimately fostering greater independence for clients with disabilities or developmental challenges.

Building trust and collaboration with patients, their families, and the broader healthcare team is essential. This will be achieved through thorough patient evaluations, vigilant monitoring, and clear, effective communication.

Compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations, as well as organizational policies and procedures, is imperative to ensure the privacy and safety of all patients while delivering the highest standard of care.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
  • Work Schedule: 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with one weekend shift required per month

Work Schedule:
Day shifts, 5x8 hours, from 07:30 AM to 04:00 PM
