Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team of dynamic therapists. As a Speech Language Pathologist - Neuro Rehabilitation Specialist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients by providing functional rehabilitation in real-life settings.
Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
- Regularly reassess treatment plans, attend staffing meetings, and family conferences to ensure effective care.
- Conduct discharge evaluations, provide recommendations for home and community safety, and offer referral and education resources.
- Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, and family members.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure seamless care coordination and enhance patient outcomes.
- Master's Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
- Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice.
- Current CPR Certification in accordance with state regulations.
- Minimum of one year's work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Demonstrated knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.
- Effective communication and professional interaction skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical demands of the job.
Rehab Without Walls is a revolutionary neuro rehabilitation program that moves individuals outside the walls of institutional settings and into their natural home and community environment through a continuum of care. Our program is designed to help patients regain functional capabilities and promote greater health through the recovery process.
